Strategic Management Business Journal has a reasonably fast turnaround time from submission to the first decision, which averages less than two months. Strategic Management Business Journal is committed to creating the integrity of the articles published by upholding the review standard.

All submissions to the journal are initially reviewed by the Editor and his Associates. At this stage, manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if it is felt that they are not of high enough priority or not relevant to the journal. This fast rejection process means that authors are given a quick decision and do not need to wait for the review process.

Manuscripts that are not instantly rejected are sent out for peer review, usually to two independent reviewers. Based on the feedback from these reviewers and the Editors' judgment a decision is given on the manuscript.

Every article submitted will be conducted a “double-blind review” where the review does not know whom the author, and the author does not know who the review. To make this possible, the author needs to submit two versions of the manuscripts. The first “complete” manuscripts was seen as a preliminary review, and a second “blind” version where the author's name, address and the identifying reference removed. Once your manuscripts has been assessed for suitability by an editor, it will be reviewed on a “double-blind peer-reviewed” basis by anonymous and independent peer-reviewed experts.
