Plagiarism Screening

Originality

By submitting your manuscript to the Journal, it is understood that this is an original manuscript, unpublished work, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the author's work, in whole or in part without proper citation, is not tolerated by the Journal.

Duplicate publication occurs when an author reuses substantial parts of their published work without appropriate references. This can range from publishing an identical paper in multiple journals to only adding a small amount of new data to a previously published article.

Strategic Management Business Journal (SMBJ) editors assess all such cases on their merits. When plagiarism becomes evident post-publication, we may correct or retract the original publication depending on the degree of plagiarism, the context within the published article, and its impact on the overall integrity of the published study. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal may be checked for originality using anti-plagiarism software.

Before going to review process, all manuscripts will be checked that they are free from plagiarism practice using "Turnitin". If there are indications of plagiarism of more than 20%, the manuscript will instantly be rejected.
